Do you think children should work at the factory in age of 12? Of course, forcing children to work at factory 10 hours per day is certainly a wrong thing, and everyone says so. However, in Pakistan and the few other countries, the child labour is continued. While we are at school, studying and chatting with friends, they are sitting at the factory working for hours and hours. Iqbal, who started the labour when he was four years old, had responsibility to pay back to the owner of the factory instead of his father, who borrowed money from the owner. Iqbal had to work about 10 hours per day, getting 1 rupee for his long, hard work. He protested against the child labour, and he got death threats by the carpet mafia before his death.
Working in the factory is like being a slave of the boss. But one of the human rights that UN made is 'nobody can make us slaves, and we cannot make others our slaves'. I didn't mean that every factory should stop employing workers, it means that there should be appropriate amount of labor compared to salary. I think there should be a standard of employee's ages who can work so that children can be protected and doing what they should do:going to the school, educated and playing with friends.
I think you wrote well about Iqbal is working in factory and earning less money instead going to school.
